Is it wrong to be obsessed with yourself?
Is it wrong to be obsessed with yourself? Most people’s knee jerk answer to that question would be ‘yes, it is wrong.”
But why?
What is wrong with being obsessed with yourself? To love who you are and the way that you look. To have a sense of wonder about yourself and spend time with yourself. Getting to know yourself deeper and have a desire to be in alignment with what you want. To always strive to be the best version of yourself. And to love the person that’s looking back at you in the mirror.
Being obsessed with yourself does not mean that you don’t pay attention to the people you love. Instead, it could be that you constantly want the best for yourself and in turn for those around you. When you are the best version of yourself, the support that you give other people is so much better.
We are human, we are not perfect, so there are always parts that could be improved. Improvement requires work. And not just any work. It requires a thought-out plan, which often needs reevaluation. So basically, you must be obsessed with yourself, constantly thinking about the “You” subject and applying work to it, to be the best version of yourself.
Be obsessed with yourself! You should be obsessed with yourself! Admire and love yourself! Impress yourself. Be your own best friend; and in turn, you’ll be able to be an amazing friend to someone else.
