During the last part of the day all I did was take off my blazer and voila! I'm good to go to the cocktail hour.

When I am out shopping for myself or for a client, I am always looking for versatile pieces that can be worn in many different ways, to different occasions. This is such a time saver for when you don't have time to shop a whole new look for an event. And I personally find it much easier to invest in pieces that I know I will wear many times.

As a businesswoman, some days my schedule is nonstop. I can have meetings, client calls, and events back-to-back in one day. I might constantly be on the go, but that doesn't mean that I want to compromise on looking 100!

On this day I attended a formal networking event, then I had a lunch meeting, then headed to a party for a local business.

I chose to wear a fun dress that is versatile and can be dressed up or down. One of my favorite ways of dressing up a look to be more formal is by adding a blazer. And to further elevate this outfit, I paired it with some pointy toe kitten heels.

I love how high heels look and what they do for an outfit, but it is not practical to wear them for six hours, walking from place to place. A good alternative for me are kitten heels. They are much easier to walk in, since they are only about an inch high, but they add length while providing a sophisticated look and feel.
